Different and Equal, an NGO in our Albanian anti-slavery network, launched a research report last week. The study analysed the experiences of trafficking survivors in their encounters with the Albanian police and judicial system. The research was sponsored and aided by the University of Bedfordshire, who helped to train survivors to develop research.
Arise is encouraged by the production of frontline research, which is often overlooked by the professional development sector. Arise sends congratulations to everyone involved in the project. The report is named "Small steps can bring big change!". It can be found here (Albanian language):
